Our Tools
At our practice, we have said goodbye to conventional impressions and now have a state of the art intra-oral digital scanner, so no more goo and gagging for our patients! We have carried out significant training and development with 3shape and the trios colour system.We also have a state-of-the-art CT scanner that we use for all of our implant procedures. The 3D scan is then used to plan for implant surgery in 3D, ensuring ultimate precision. Patients love seeing their own 3D plan, and we have found it helps them understand the implant procedure.

Our reception team is in charge of accommodating all our patients’ needs when booking them in for their life-changing treatments. They also provide patients with support and advice any time of the day.Our oral surgery team always goes above and beyond for patients, ensuring that our patients are at ease during surgical procedures and have everything to help them with their speedy recovery. The team is on call to address any concerns or worries that patients may have, supporting patients every step of the way.Let’s not forget about our fantastic dentists and their nurses. We have several dentists at the practice who do both cosmetic and orthodontic treatment. They go on a journey with their patients and help create the beautiful smiles they have always wanted. We work with our patients on strict deadlines to ensure they have their dram smile for big occasions such as weddings, big birthday parties, and so much more.
Our Doc
Our principal dentist is Dr. A. Ladva. He qualified from the prestigious King’s College London. He has a teaching qualification and carried out extensive study in the field of prosthodontics with the best clinicians in the world. His formalised postgraduate training was completed at King’s College London, where he was awarded a MClinDent in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with Distinction. A MClinDent is the equivalent to 2 MSc degrees and thus is a very challenging program.Dr. Ladva has a large teaching portfolio, having been asked to teach both in the UK and internationally in various fields of dentistry, including digital dentistry and intra-oral scanning. He is also keen in teaching the future generation of dental students and dental nurses and allows them to carry out a portion of their formative training at Braintree Dental Studio.Dr. Ladva has a great relationship with his patients and helps makes them feel at ease. He has many patients who wouldn't contemplate dental treatment prior to seeing him. Now these patients have had extensive treatment to give them confidence and make them smile.Dr. Ladva is keen on developing the team to ensure Braintree Dental offers the best treatment for our patients. All of our dentists have undergone considerable postgraduate education to further their skills and help provide our patients with the best treatment and care.Dr. Ladva has also encouraged the nursing team to enhance their abilities by enrolling them in advance nursing courses to widen their skill set. This has included dental implant training, sedation training for our nervous patients, communication training within the dental practice, and advanced dentistry training.
